When we got off the plane it was almost sunset so we went to nearby Kona to see the beautiful sunsets that they have there, and got this picture to show everyone what they're missing out!
In the morning, we went to go see 'lolani Palace in Honolulu which was the former residence of the Hawaiian monarch, and I got a picture of it!

After we went to see that we met a local who only spoke Hawaiian, and he offered to take us up on a helicopter ride over Honolulu! Everyone was so excited to see the biggest city in Hawaii and we couldn't wait! While we were up there I got a few pictures, and the one below was the best one I could find out of them all sine I couldn't focuss while we were flying, but here it is:
We had an amazing time there just relaxing and chilling on all the beaches and we even went to see the lava flow beside the island! We really took it easy after seeing all the sites we wanted to and now in Hawaii we were closer to home so on our way back it wouldn't be such a long plane ride to Canada. Hawaii was really amazing and the heat was a great change from the cold and wet weather at our home in Canada. I really enjoyed my "Trip Around The World" and would do it again at different countries at any chance I'd get!
